We are Nathanael (AKA George) and Hadley Tobey, a husband and wife team dedicated to creatively capturing your special day!

Our Mission
Our main purpose in being part of your big day is, first and foremost, to capture your most special moments. Your wedding day goes by so quickly! Our mission is to create photos or videos that will allow your memories to continue to flourish in beautiful ways. We value the relationships that we have with our clients deeply. We want to get to know who you are as individuals and who you are as a couple. This allows us to really showcase the love you have for one another through photography or videography.

Tobey Studio History
2018
Five years after taking up photography, Nathanael began videography. Taking that time to really get familiar with DSLR's and gain a better understanding of how they work allowed for Nathanael to be pretty comfortable stepping into videography. This year Nathanael had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and gain a lot of experience in the field. Also, this was the year that we met, so this was an important year for Tobey Studio ;)
2020
Wow, what a year this was... For everyone, ourselves included. After an engagement in 2019, this was the year that we got married, YAY! Between understanding what this virus was disrupting the world, moving multiple times and beginning our married lives together, somehow Nathanael found some time to start showing Hadley the ropes. With our first photographed wedding under our belts, we were excited for what 2021 could hold.
2021
As 2021 began, we decided to give this photography thing a go for real. GT Photography (previous business name) was born and we couldn't wait for what was to come. At the beginning of the summer we'd received some requests for wedding videography and thought we might as well give it a go. After shooting a total of 7 weddings, 5 of which were videography, we knew video was something of importance to us and our business.
2022
At the beginning of this year, we rebranded and officially launched Tobey Studio. It was such an amazing year of working with so many great clients all over the province of Ontario! We shot 10 of our own weddings this year and photographed as a secondary shooter for another 3. We are so thankful for what made for an incredibly busy wedding season and cannot wait to keep this momentum rolling!
2023 and Beyond!
We are so excited for the weddings booked so far and the many more to come.
